HIG AUTOMATED CENTRIFUGES
THE HIGHEST SPEED ROBOT-ACCESSIBLE CENTRIFUGE ON THE MARKET
HiG 3 and HiG 4 automated centrifuges
Next-generation label-free analysis
BLI is a powerful technology that is flexible, highly-sensitive and accessible. From experiment to analysis, characterise the widest range of molecules on a single easy-to-use platform ― in a single run.
True low volume, high throughput subvisible particle analysis
Aura systems help you develop stable, pure, and efficacious protein, cell, and gene therapies faster. By combining the sensitivity of BMI with fluorescent detection, Aura systems enable high-throughput particle count, size and identification.

HiG 3 and HiG 4 automated centrifuges
Home - Suppliers - BioNex Solutions - HiG Automated Centrifuges
The BioNex HiG™ centrifuge delivers the highest speed of any robot accessible centrifuge on the market today. Capable of rapid acceleration up to 5000 x g, the HiG provides better pelletising, cleaner supernatants and faster filtration than lower speed centrifuges can achieve. Applications requiring previously unobtainable spin forces are now possible in an automated centrifuge. The HiG is user programmable; create spin profiles to optimise any application. The small footprint of the HiG centrifuges easily integrates with laboratory automation, and two units can be stacked to increase throughput.
High speed, efficient and flexible
The dual position patented rotor design of the HiG is capable of up to 5000 x g with rapid acceleration / deceleration in 20 sec. It accepts microplates and assemblies up to 61 mm in height, payloads up to 350 g per bucket, and allowing most microplate configurations to be processed easily, including deep well blocks and filter-plate assemblies.
Imbalance tolerance and low vibration
With up to 100 g weight difference between buckets, the HiG exhibits low vibration even during imbalance maximum. These forgiving payload weight differences promote continual, uninterrupted operation, and provides vibrational stability for other instruments operating on the same platform.
Temperature control
The HiG 4 incorporates Peltier cooling to keep samples at or close to ambient temperature operating at maximum RCF and duty cycle.
Designed for easy automation
The HiG is directly accessible with no plate drop required. The large door opening allows buckets to be accessed directly by a wide range of laboratory robots without an intermediate plate loader, reducing the number of steps required and overall cycle time.
